Laser Coding Sealer
Thermal laser coding with no ink or consumables, printing permanent codes at 3000 mm/s.
View modelA sealing machine with a computer inside it. The SMT-280 runs a quad-core Linux platform on a 5-inch IPS touchscreen, sealing at 0–25 m/min with a 10 mm seal width while printing the code in the same pass. Choose inkjet, steel stamp or ink printing on the same mechanical platform, and carry up to 15 kg of product on the conveyor.
Traditional lines seal the bag on one machine and print it on another, which means two operators and two chances for the code to land in the wrong place. The SMT-280 seals and prints in the same pass, and holds the print settings so the next batch starts where the last one finished.
The controller times the print head to the belt, so the code lands in the same place on every bag whatever the line speed.
The bag is placed on the adjustable conveyor table and carried into the sealing head at up to 25 m/min.
The self-lubricating copper heating block, held between 0 and 300 °C, fuses the bag mouth.
The high-airflow fan sets the sealed texture quickly so the code is printed onto a stable surface.
The selected head, inkjet, steel stamp or ink printing, applies the code and the machine counts the pack.
All figures are taken from the model datasheet and listed as supplied.

Mechanical structure and conveyor are common to all four builds. Choose the coding head (inkjet, steel stamp or ink printing) per order.
The seal geometry does not change across the range. What changes is how the code is applied, and that decides your running consumables.
| Build | Marking Method | Power | Consumables | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SMT-280P | Inkjet printing | 1650 W | Ink and cartridge | Variable multi-line data |
| SMT-280CQ | Inkjet printing | 1600 W | Ink and cartridge | High-speed variable dating |
| SMT-280M | Steel stamp | 1650 W | Steel type only | Permanent embossed data |
| SMT-280 | Ink printing | 1600 W | Ink wheel | Economical fixed date and batch |
All four builds share the same 0–25 m/min sealing speed, 10 mm seal width and 0–300 C temperature range. Power varies slightly with the marking head fitted.
Details that matter on a line where bags arrive all day and the code must never be missed.
A quad-core processor and IPS touchscreen give a real interface, not a row of dials.
Self-lubricating copper heating and cooling blocks move heat in and out evenly for a clean seal every cycle.
The upgraded high-airflow fan sets the seal texture quickly, which keeps the printed impression sharp.
The conveyor table moves forward, back, up and down so it suits the product rather than the other way round.
Multi-layer insulation means a loose connection does not expose live parts, protecting the operator.
The 304 stainless heating tube is removable and the belt is a quality grade, so upkeep is straightforward.
From foil to kraft paper, the same machine seals each bag type and prints the code it needs.

Foil, composite, kraft and fresh-keeping bags for food and agricultural products.
Multi-line batch, expiry and licence data printed as each bag is sealed.
Tea bags, shrink film packs and lubricant pouches coded without stopping the line.
Heavy packing at 1290 × 545 × 1000 mm, shipped by express, air or sea.
T/T bank transfer and other agreed methods, with terms confirmed on the proforma invoice.
A 2-year warranty covers parts and labour, with heating tubes and belts supplied quickly.
Help configuring print layouts, languages and stored recipes on the touchscreen.
Four builds are offered on the same platform. The SMT-280P and SMT-280CQ use inkjet printing, the SMT-280M uses a steel stamp, and the standard SMT-280 uses ink printing. All four seal at the same speed and width; only the marking head and its consumables differ.
A quad-core processor running at up to 1.5 GHz drives a 5-inch IPS touchscreen on an open Linux system. That is what allows instant print-and-seal, flexible coding content, stored print settings and one-tap switching of the interface language, including custom languages.
It handles heat-seal packaging bags including aluminium foil bags, plastic bags, composite bags, kraft paper bags, fresh-keeping bags, tea bags and shrink film bags, with a conveyor that carries up to 15 kg per item. That range covers food, pharmaceutical, chemical, agricultural and lubricant packing.
A high-airflow fan cools the sealed mouth as it leaves the heating zone, so the texture pressed at the seal sets quickly. Cooling before printing is what keeps the impression sharp and stops the bag smearing as it travels on.
The circuit uses multiple layers of insulation, so a loose connection does not expose live conductors. The heating tube is made from removable 304 stainless steel, and the conveyor table adjusts forward and back as well as up and down to suit the product size.
The machine is assembled and tested before dispatch and ships in heavy packing at 1290 x 545 x 1000 mm. Standard production is about 5 working days with express transit of roughly 4 to 6 working days. Heating tubes, belts and print consumables are supplied as spares, and a 2-year warranty applies.
