  • Produce Washing Range

    Fruit & Vegetable Washing Machines

Soil, pesticide residue and surface bacteria are removed at different points of a fresh produce line, and no single principle covers every product. This range spans air bubble, high-pressure spray, brush roller, vortex and ozone washing so the machine is matched to the crop instead of the crop to the machine. Capacities run from 100 kg per hour for a kitchen unit to 3,000 kg per hour for a continuous packing house line. Every wash body is built in food-grade stainless steel with a recirculation tank to keep water use and effluent under control.

    Range Overview

Match the Washing Action to the Product

Washing performance is decided by how the water and the product meet: a bubble that lifts soil, a jet that shears it off, a brush that scrubs it away, a vortex that keeps the product tumbling, or ozone that oxidises micro-organisms in the same pass.

    • Food-grade constructionTanks and food contact parts in 304 stainless steel, from 2 mm to 3 mm plate depending on the model, with engineering plastics only where contact must flex or wear.
    • Continuous throughputMesh belt or quick-release vibrating conveyors keep product moving with no batch interruption, from a single kitchen unit up to a 6 m packing house line.
    • Water recirculationFilter tanks, wedge screens and automatic top-up systems reuse wash water and separate soil, leaf and grit before discharge.
    • Optional ozone and heatingOzone modules and heat-assisted tanks can be added where microbial reduction or wax and soil loosening is required.

    Applications

    Where These Washers Are Installed

From a single central kitchen tank to a continuous fresh-cut plant, the same platforms are specified across the food industry.

    Fresh-Cut & Leafy Plants

Vortex and bubble lines wash cabbage, lettuce, spinach and herbs, then hand product to dewatering, drying and packing modules.

    Root Crop & Ginger Lines

Brush roller and high-pressure spray units remove caked soil from potato, carrot, ginger, turmeric and sweet potato before cutting or freezing.

    Seafood & Meat Rooms

Soft brush rollers and bubble tanks wash fish, shrimp, shellfish and poultry without damaging the surface, supporting hygiene control.

    Institutional Kitchens

Compact ozone bubble washers fit school, hospital, hotel and canteen kitchens where disinfection matters more than throughput.

    Distribution Centres

High-capacity vortex and bubble & spray lines feed supermarket and market distribution centres with continuous washed produce.

    Pickle & Preserve Works

Washers handle pickle, chilli and brined vegetables, cleaning surface residue before curing and reducing the bacterial load entering the brine.

    FAQ

Fruit & Vegetable Washing Machine Questions

Leafy greens and delicate fruit usually want bubble and gentle spray washing, while root crops need brush rollers or high-pressure spray to remove soil. Ozone suits any product that also needs microbial reduction. Tell us the product and we will recommend the principle, tank size and conveyor speed.

All continuous models recirculate water through a filter tank, so the same water is reused across the shift and only the carry-over is topped up. The vortex and high-pressure units add multi-stage filtration and automatic water replenishment; exact consumption depends on product soil load and throughput.

Yes. Roller units can switch between hard brushes for peeling potatoes and carrots and soft brushes for fruit, fish and shrimp. Bubble and vortex lines handle mixed loads of whole, cut and shredded produce.

Food contact parts are built in 304 stainless steel, with the ozone and high-pressure units using 3 mm and 2 mm plate respectively. Engineering plastics are used for guides and rollers that must flex or wear without marking the product.

Tanks, screens, filters and the vibration or mesh conveyor are quick-release and can be lifted out for cleaning. A drain valve empties the tank, and the control panel keeps the washing and disinfection cycles separate so sanitation is repeatable.

Every washer is built with an infeed and outfeed height that matches your existing line, and can be combined with peeling, sorting, cutting, dewatering, drying and packing modules.

Machines carry a 12-month warranty from delivery with replacement of major parts, a full spare parts kit and lifetime online technical support. Operation, cleaning and maintenance videos ship with every unit.

Machine length, width, brush roller count and roller type can be specified for your throughput and cleaning requirement, and custom tank and conveyor widths are available on the high-pressure and bubble ranges.
