Bubble & Spray Fruit and Vegetable Washing Machine

Air bubbles do the work here. Compressed air rises through the tank as a curtain that lifts product apart and keeps it tumbling, so soil comes off every surface instead of only where the produce touches the belt. A water pipe above the belt adds a continuous spray rinse, and belt speed sets how long each item stays in the wash. The same machine handles leafy, granular and root vegetables, pickles, chilli, fruit and seafood, from 0 to 3,000 kg per hour across five belt lengths.

    Overview

Air Bubbles and Top Spray Over a Stainless Mesh Belt

Product is submerged as it travels the length of the tank. Bubbles keep it moving and separated; the spray above the belt rinses the loosened soil away; the belt carries clean product out of the tank and on to the next station.

    • Bubble curtain from the tank floorAir released along the bottom lifts product apart and breaks up clumps, so soil is released from the whole surface rather than one contact point.
    • Continuous top sprayA water pipe above the belt sprays the product as it travels, washing off what the bubbles have lifted.
    • Adjustable washing timeA reduction motor drives the belt, so belt speed — and therefore soak and spray time — is tuned to the product and its soil load.
    • One-operator operationLoad at the infeed, monitor the discharge, and let the belt do the rest. An emergency stop is fitted as standard.

How the Bubble and Spray Zones Work Together

Washing happens in three stages along one belt. Understanding them makes belt length and speed straightforward to specify.

Longer belts hold product in the bubble and spray zones for more time, which suits heavier soil loads. For a set throughput, choose the belt that gives both the wash time and the floor footprint your line can accept.

    Advantages

    Designed for One-Operator Continuous Washing

Four features that make the machine simple to run and to keep running.

    Gentle on Soft Produce

Bubbles lift product without mechanical brushing, so strawberries, peaches and leafy greens keep their shape and surface.

    Adjustable Wash Time

The reduction motor lets you slow the belt for a heavy soil load or speed it up for a light one, without changing the machine.

    Emergency Stop Fitted

A safety switch stops the machine immediately, and the belt and tank are guarded for normal production use.

    Low Maintenance Cost

Few wearing parts, accessible drive and a simple tank mean servicing takes little time away from production.

    Applications

Leafy, Granular and Root Vegetables Plus Seafood

One belt handles a wide product list, which is why this model is common on mixed lines.

Bubble and spray washer installed in a food processing room
Leafy vegetables washed in the bubble tank
Fruit and vegetables on the mesh belt under the spray
Granular and root produce moving along the stainless mesh belt
Seafood washed in the bubble spray machine
Washed produce discharged from the bubble washer

    Vegetables and Fruit

Root, leafy and granular vegetables plus apples, dates, peaches, strawberries and pineapple, with soaking and colour-setting where needed.

    Seafood

Fish and shrimp washed in the bubble tank without the surface damage that comes from mechanical brushing.

    Pickles and Prepared Foods

Pickles, chilli and brined vegetables washed, soaked and rinsed before curing, cutting or further processing.

    Ordering and Cover

    Support, Spares and Warranty

The machine is shipped tested, with the documentation needed to run and clean it correctly.

    Shipping

Machines are crated for sea or road freight, and smaller items can move by air express with tracking.

    FAQ

    Bubble & Spray Washer Questions

Compressed air is released along the bottom of the tank and rises as a curtain of bubbles. The bubbles lift product apart, break up clumps and keep the produce tumbling, so soil is released from the whole surface rather than only from the underside resting on the belt.

A reduction motor drives the mesh belt, and belt speed is adjustable, so the time a product spends under the spray is set by how fast the belt runs. Slower belt means longer wash time for heavily soiled loads; faster belt suits lightly soiled produce and higher output.

Choose by throughput and by the space your line allows: VBWM-2500 and VBWM-3000 for smaller operations up to 800 kg per hour, VBWM-4000 for around 1,000 kg per hour, and VBWM-5000 or VBWM-6000 for 1,500 to 3,000 kg per hour. All five share the same washing principle.

Yes. The bubble action is gentle, there are no mechanical brushes on the mesh belt version, and belt speed can be slowed. Strawberries, peaches and leafy greens can be washed and simultaneously soaked and colour-set.

One operator can load the infeed and monitor the discharge. An emergency stop switch is fitted, and the machine can be linked to the next station so the product flows without manual transfer.

The body is built in 304 stainless steel and the conveyor is a SUS304 stainless mesh belt, both chosen for food contact, corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.

The machine carries a 12-month warranty from delivery with replacement of major parts, a spare parts kit, operating and cleaning videos and lifetime online technical support.
