Root Brush Roller Washer
The same VWM platform configured for washing and peeling potato, carrot, taro and beetroot.
View modelThis is the general-purpose washer in the range: a rotating brush roller bed with a top spray that keeps product moving without a batch change. It handles root vegetables such as carrot and potato, pickles, chilli and brined vegetables, and fruit such as apple and pear. Because the wash is continuous, one operator can run the machine, water use is cut by the recirculation tank, and the short cycle keeps energy demand per tonne low. Both models are built in stainless steel for daily washdown.
Three cost centres move at once when washing becomes continuous instead of batch by batch.
Product enters at one end and leaves clean at the other, so the line keeps running and the throughput stays even across the shift.
The tank holds the wash water and returns it to the spray bar, so fresh water is only topped up to replace carry-over rather than used once.
The body and food contact parts are stainless steel, so the machine resists corrosion and stands up to daily washdown and cleaning chemicals.
Two capacities on one platform. Figures are taken directly from the machine datasheet.

Where a product needs microbial reduction rather than only soil removal, specify a line with an ozone stage. The table above describes the mechanical wash performance of this model only.
Practical details that matter when the machine works every day.
Brush rollers are quick-release, so a change of bristle type or a replacement roller is a short manual job, not a workshop visit.
Roller speed and brush pressure are set to the product, so delicate items get a lighter action and tough roots get full scrubbing.
Discharge height is set for the next station, whether that is a sorting table, a cutter, a dewatering unit or a packing line.
The machine suits any site that washes produce every day and cannot afford to stop for batch changes.
The machine arrives assembled, tested and ready to connect.
Assembly, leak test and a full run are completed before dispatch, with the test record supplied.
Common wear parts ship with the machine, and further rollers, screens and pumps follow by air express.
Operating manual, installation steps, cleaning routine and a video covering roller change and daily maintenance.
Major parts replaced within the warranty period, with lifetime online technical support after it ends.
It is built for root vegetables such as carrot and potato, for pickles, chilli and brined vegetables, and for fruit such as apple and pear. With the appropriate roller set it also cleans softer items, so one machine can cover a mixed weekly production programme.
Product moves through the roller bed without stopping for a batch change, so one operator keeps the machine fed and the throughput steady. The tank recirculates the wash water, which lowers fresh water demand, and the short wash cycle reduces the energy needed per tonne washed.
The wash action is set to the product. Hard rollers are used where skin needs removing and soft rollers where the surface must stay intact, so fruit and delicate items come out unmarked while roots are still cleaned thoroughly.
The wash cycle removes the soil and surface film that carry most contamination, which lowers the bacterial load before the next process. Where a higher standard is needed, a washing line with an ozone stage should be specified instead of this model.
Yes. Both models are built as a single station that can be combined with a sorting table, cutting machine, dewatering unit or packing line, and the discharge height is set to suit the equipment downstream.
The tank drains through a valve, the screens and filters lift out for rinsing, and the roller bed is hosed down. That routine is quick enough to run between product changes rather than only at the end of the shift.
The machine arrives tested with a full spare parts kit, an operating manual, installation and cleaning videos, and a 12-month warranty covering major parts, with online technical support for the life of the machine.
Different crops need different actions. These machines share the same platform and support.
