Multi-Spindle CNC Router
Two heads cutting the same pattern at once to roughly double output on repetitive parts.
View modelA flat-bed router can only cut what the tool can reach from above. Add a rotary fourth axis and the head turns into the workpiece, so curved, cylindrical and fully three-dimensional forms become machinable on the same gantry. The FS1530A combines a 1500 by 3000 mm table, a rotary head turning to 90 degrees either way, an Italian HSD 9 kW automatic tool change spindle and Yaskawa servo drives under Syntec control.
A three-axis router moves the tool in X, Y and Z. Every surface it produces has to be reachable from directly above. The fourth axis breaks that constraint by rotating the head, which is what unlocks cylindrical and sculpted 3D work.
The same gantry serves four different machining modes depending on whether the fourth axis is engaged.
With the axis locked, the machine behaves as a conventional three-axis router for panel cutting, drilling and shallow engraving.
2.5D and 3D relief work on flat stock, following the profile of a mould or decorative panel surface.
The head tilts to follow a curved surface, so swept and rounded forms are cut without stepping or faceting.
With a rotary fixture the axis turns the work, allowing true cylindrical machining and sculpted three-dimensional shapes.

The datasheet refers to this model as FS1530D-4 Axis in the heading and FS1530-4Axis in the parameter table; both names describe the same four-axis machine. Table size, Z travel and spindle choice are confirmed before production.
Four spindle ratings, two speed bands and three collet sizes. The choice follows from the material and the finish you need.
| Spindle | Power | Speed | Collet | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Air-cooled | 3.0 kW | 18,000 rpm | ER20 / ER25 | Light panel work and shallow engraving |
| Air-cooled | 4.5 kW | 18,000 rpm | ER25 / ER32 | General routing, drilling and grooving |
| Air-cooled | 6.0 kW | 18,000 rpm | ER32 | Deeper cuts and denser board stock |
| ATC, standard | 9.0 kW | 24,000 rpm | ER32 | Multi-tool 3D and mould work with automatic change |
The standard 9 kW ATC spindle is an Italian HSD unit, chosen for power and speed stability on long carving cycles.
A disc automatic tool changer holds the cutter set, so a 3D job can run roughing, finishing and undercut tools in one cycle.
Helical rack and pinion on X and Y with a TBI ball screw on Z, driven by Yaskawa AC servos for accurate long travels.
Sectors where the shape of the part matters as much as its outline.

Casting moulds, master patterns and foundry tooling in tooling board, resin and soft metal.
Automotive, ship, yacht and rail components and models, where large curved surfaces are the norm.
Curved panel work, columns, balustrades and feature shapes carved from wood and composite board.
Relief sculpture, three-dimensional artwork and cylindrical carving projects of substantial size.
Indoor and outdoor signs, engraved and relief lettering, 3D characters and memorial products.
ACP, ACM, solid surface materials and non-ferrous metals cut and shaped on the same machine.
Frame preparation, assembly verification and a service commitment that does not depend on shipping the machine back.
The welded frame is milled and drilled on a machining centre to keep mounting faces flat and holes on position.
Blasting, filling and derusting before painting, then the finish is applied, which is what protects the frame over years outdoors or in a dusty shop.
Squareness, travel accuracy, machining accuracy and repeatability are measured with instruments once assembly is complete.

View modelThe fourth axis is a rotary head that turns the tool around the workpiece, so the machine can cut curved and cylindrical surfaces as well as flat ones. On the FS1530A the head turns to 90 degrees in either direction, which is what allows full three-dimensional machining of large curved forms, moulds and sculpted shapes rather than just 2D profiles and 2.5D pockets.
It is used mainly for mould and pattern work: casting moulds, automotive, marine and yacht parts, aerospace and rail components, and large three-dimensional surfaces. It also machines wood and plywood, plastics such as acrylic, PVC and HDPE, soft metals including aluminium and brass, and composite panels.
The standard spindle is an Italian HSD 9.0 kW ATC unit running at 24,000 rpm with an ER32 collet. Air-cooled 3.0, 4.5 and 6.0 kW spindles at 18,000 rpm are also available. Axis motion is driven by Japanese Yaskawa AC servo motors through German helical rack and pinion on X and Y and a TBI ball screw on Z.
It runs a Syntec controller and accepts G code and M code. Files can also be prepared in DSP, NC Studio or Mach3 environments. Common design software including Type3, Ucancam, Artcam, Alphacam and Cabinet Vision is supported, so existing CAD and CAM workflows transfer without a conversion step.
Main components carry a three-year warranty and wear parts are covered for 18 months, with 7 by 24 after-sales support in English, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese. Email enquiries are answered within 12 hours on a GMT plus 8 schedule, and production capacity is 30 sets per month.
The standard working area is 1500 by 3000 mm with 300 mm of Z travel. Options include 1300 by 2500 mm and 2000 by 3000 mm working areas, and Z travel can be extended to 400, 500 or 600 mm. Larger or custom table sizes are confirmed against a drawing before production.
